Pure Polyimide (Pure PI) is an unfilled, high-performance engineering polymer. This polymer is synthesized through the chemical reaction of diamines and dianhydrides. When manufacturing profiles such as sheets and rods from Pure PI, polyimide resin (mostly in powder form) is typically used. These resins are processed into initial shapes through methods like compression molding or isostatic molding. Subsequently, a critical high-temperature curing or sintering process forms the material's final exceptional physical and thermal properties. This material is widely used in extreme operating conditions due to its excellent high-temperature resistance, high mechanical strength, superior electrical insulation, and dimensional stability.
