    Pure Polyimide (PI) offers exceptional thermal stability. It can withstand continuous operating temperatures up to 300°C (572°F) and handle short-term temperature spikes of up to 400°C (752°F) without melting or losing its mechanical integrity.

    While both are top-tier high-performance polymers, Pure PI outperforms PEEK in extreme heat. PI maintains its dimensional stability and mechanical strength at temperatures where PEEK begins to soften (above 250°C). However, PI is typically compression-molded rather than melt-processed.

    Absolutely. Pure PI has outstanding dimensional stability and does not creep easily, making it highly suitable for precision CNC machining. We can supply standard shapes or offer machining guidelines to help you achieve tight tolerances.
